David Lee Moore

David Lee Moore of Eureka, died on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, at the age of 83.
He was born June 9, 1936, in Eureka, the son of Milo Quinn and Opal Mae (Satchell) Moore. He was raised in the Tonovay area, attending local schools. Following his graduation from Tonovay, David attended Emporia State University for two years. On March 21, 1972, David was united in marriage to Alice Mari Smith in Wichita Falls, Texas. The family moved following his work to Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Dallas before settling in Eureka in 1994. David was a warehouse manager most of his life. Upon settling in Eureka, he became department manager for Alco until his retirement. Alice preceded him in death on October 31, 2009.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Moore of Wichita; one brother, Milo Moore of Eureka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice Mari; son, Greg Moore; and three sisters: Freda Hammond, Roberta “Jean” Nordmeyer, and Arlene “Ann” Moore,.
