Clint Allan Cook, of rural Eureka, died at his residence on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at the age of 52.
He was born in Cedar Lake, Indiana on December 7, 1949, the son of Harvey and Mary Ellen Cook. He was raised in Cedar Lake and attended school there. After his schooling, he entered the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam war. Upon his discharge, he began his career as an over the road truck driver.
On September 27, 1983 Clint was united in marriage to Judy Crumbliss in Wichita, Kansas. In 1997 the family moved to Eureka. Clint was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church of Eureka.
He is survived by his wife, Judy of the ho9me, his father and step-mother, Harvey and Grace Cook of Crown Point, Indiana; one brother, Harvey Cook of Cedar Lake, Indiana; three step[-sons, James Burris of Eureka, Michael Burris of Liberal and Jason Miller of Eureka; one step-brother, Ross and wife Kathy Kozora of Crown Point, Indiana; and one step-sister Charlene Kozora, of Anna, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother.
His body has been donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial services were held Saturday, November 9, 2002, at 7:00 P.M. at the New Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Chris Anderson officiating.
Memorials have been established in his name with Hope Lutheran Church of Cedar Lake, Illinois and The New Life Assembly of God Church of Eureka.
