Charlotte June Wiggins

Charlotte June Wiggins, of Eureka, Kansas died on February 15, 2005 at her residence in Eureka, at the age of 71.
She was born on May 12, 1933, in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Robert and Avis (Barrows) Atwood. She was raised in southern California and attended school there until her senior year when the family moved to Oregon. Charlotte later graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon.
On November 8, 1953, she was united in marriage to George R. Wiggins in Kingman, Arizona. That marriage later ended in divorce. In 1955, Charlotte moved to Wichita and to Eureka in 1970.
She is survived by her mother, Avis Candy; two sons, Bruce Wiggins of Eureka; and Kelly Wiggins of Henderson, Nevada; one daughter, Debra Lynn Herbold of Tempe, Arizona; one brother, Robert Atwood of Baltimore, Maryland; one step-brother, Gary Candy of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Sheri Hall of Eureka; one step-sister, Judy Lee Candy of Hawaiian Gardens, California; and one granddaughter, Valerie Lynn Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert, sister, Juanita, and a daughter in infancy.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 18, 2005 at Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka. A memorial has been established in her name with the American Lung Association. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
