Celesta Mae Kirkpatrick

Celesta Mae Kirkpatrick, of Eureka, died on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Eureka, at the age of 72.
She was born on December 15, 1931, in Illinois, the daughter of William and Olive (Sumner) Maltby. When she was very young, the family moved to the Reece area where she was raised and attended local schools. She worked most of her life as a waitress and later as a CNA in the Eureka and Madison areas until her retirement in the early 1990’s. At the time of her retirement, she was a CMA.
She was survived by one daughter, Vickie Lynn Jann of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; one brother, William Maltby of Madison; five sisters, Mary Ann Bumgardner of Eureka; Violet Armstrong of Madison; Doris McIlvaine of Wichita; Carol Shieck of Madison; and Jeannie Heston of Springfield, Missouri; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Lee Keyes, and Amos Arlo Kirkpatrick Jr.; one daughter, Laveta Grace Kirkpatrick; and two brothers.
Cremation has been effected.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
