Bob Lee Vinson of Eureka, died on September 26, 2013 at Greenwood County Hospital at the age of 82.
Bob was born on July 11, 1931 in Winfield, Kansas the son of Clarence and Eva (Frakes) Vinson. He attended Tonovay schools graduating in 1950. After his schooling Bob went to work at Brenton’s Auto Body Shop and later opened his own construction business. He then went to work for Russell and Sons construction until his retirement.
On July 29, 1950 he was united in marriage to Dorthy Butler in Eureka, Kansas. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2009.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Herlien of Yellville, Ar.; sons, Randy, Rod and Tom Vinson all of Eureka and Scott Vinson of Wichita; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gail Rickey of Seattle, Wa. and Connie Bratton of Eureka. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Dorthy.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 30, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery with Mr. Jayme A. Koup officiating.
