Beverly Kay Gravatt of Eureka, died on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home in Eureka, at the age of 60.

She was born on July 9, 1960, in Eureka, the daughter of John Kenneth and Nora Anna (Smith) Crooks. She was raised in the Eureka area and attended local schools. On September 29, 1979, Beverly was united in marriage to Lloyd F. Gravatt, Jr. in Florence, Kansas. They made their home in Eureka. To this union, two children were born.

She was a member of the Little People of America. Beverly will be remembered as a loving mother and devoted grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of the home; children, Kevin Gravatt of Eureka; and Kimberly Gravatt of Eureka; five grandchildren; six siblings: Donna McGrew of Delaware, Oklahoma; Chuck Crooks of Edgerton; Jerry Crooks of Roseville, California; Judy Carroll of Marion, Kansas; Francis Crooks of Eureka; and Jack Crooks of Alta Vista, Kansas; and a great many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings: Carol Call, John Crooks, Violet Leach, Mary Hanson, Duane Crooks, and Earl Crooks.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Koup Family Funeral Home, in Eureka with Pastor Larry Evans of the Neal Evangelical Free Church officiating. Cremation has been effected. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Quincy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Beverly’s Grandchildren Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, PO Box 595, Eureka KS 67045, which is overseeing arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family online, at koupfunerals.com.
