Audrey F. Morrow
Audrey Faye Morrow of Severy, Kansas passed on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her son’s home in Eureka, Kansas at the age of 75.
She was born on August 16, 1939 in Tulare, California, the daughter of Albert and Allie (Russell) Donaldson. At the age of nine, the family moved to Locke Arkansas where she attended Mountainburg schools. Later she moved to Potwin, Kansas where she worked at the grade school as a cook. She worked at various jobs including a nursing home in Atchison, Kansas and having her own cleaning business in Neal. On March 24, 1954, she was united in marriage to Roy Leon Henry. This marriage later ended in divorce. On January 24, 1971, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Wayne Hamilton in Wellington, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1988. On March 10, 1991, she was united in marriage to Harold Morrow. He preceded her in death in 1998. Her longtime companion since 2002, Jim Young, survives her.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Henry of Leesburg, Georgia; Dianna Bartlett of Lenexa; Victor Henry of Cedarville, Arkansas; Shirleena Washburn of Potwin; Janet Henry of El Dorado; Kirby Henry of Toronto; and Rick Hamilton of Eureka; twenty three grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; one brother, Sherman Donaldson of Wichita; and Judith Gregory of Van Buren, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and six brothers and sisters, Lloyd William Donaldson, Roy James Donaldson, JC Donaldson, Mary Imogene Robins, Fines Lee Donaldson, and Bobby Joe Donaldson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2014 at Koup Family Funeral Home, Eureka with Pastor Tony Pameticky of Severy Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Neal Cemetery, Neal, Kansas. Visitations hours are set from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Eureka Nursing Center Activity Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangement
