Anna Pearl Tyner of Toronto, died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Eureka Nursing Center, in Eureka at the age of 80.
She was born on December 8, 1931, in Virgil, the daughter of Clarence Raymond and Dorothy Louise (Bogle) Cole. She was raised in the Hutchinson area and moved to Toronto in 1949. On November 5, 1950, Anna was united in marriage to Henry “Eugene” Tyner in Toronto, where they made their home. Anna was a homemaker, while Eugene farmed. Anna preceded Eugene in death by 2 hours and 15 minutes..
She was a member of the Toronto Christian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Currant of Orlando, Florida; and three sons, Harley Tyner of Toronto; Gary Tyner of Toronto; and Rick Tyner of Toronto; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Cole of Warsaw, Missouri; and one sister, Patty Heidebrecht of Glen Haven, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Robert.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Toronto Cemetery, in Toronto with Pastor Gerald Zuck of New Hope Christian Church of Cherryvale officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Friends for Life. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045, which was in charge of service arrangements.
