Alan L. Brenner of Eureka, died on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Vintage Park in Eureka, at the age of 74.
He was born on August 4, 1947, in Wichita, the son of Lawrence Ernest and Lottie Angeline (Richardson) Brenner. He was raised in Wichita and graduated from Derby High School. Afterwards he attended Wichita Business College and completed an associate degree in business. He worked for the Sedgwick County Appraiser’s Office for over 21 years. He later was a greeter at Walmart for 13 years, retiring in 2013 to Eureka.
On June 20, 1970, Alan was united in marriage to Barbara Tucker in Wichita. To this union, two children were born.
He is survived by his children, Carrie Ann Brenner of Joplin; and Drew Alan Brenner of Wichita; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Theriot of Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Phillip Brenner, and sister, Leanna Pinkston.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Bethel Life Center in Wichita with Pastor Ken Squires officiating. Masks should be worn and social distancing observed. Cremation has been effected. A private family scattering will take place at a later date.
