Ada Rosa Wall passed away quietly Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the age of 90 at Solara Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She was born on Jan. 6, 1919 in Garber, Oklahoma, the third child of August and Lottie Bruns. The family moved to Eureka, Kansas where she graduated with honors from Eureka High School in 1937. She was married to the late Roy F. Wall on Aug. 2, 1937 at Cedar Point, Indiana and became a wonderful mother and housekeeper. She moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma after the death of her husband to be near her daughters.
Survivors include her sons, Dale F. Wall and his wife Jackie of Emporia, Ks.; John L. Wall and wife Sherol of Washington, Ut.; daughters, Janice E. Goodman and her husband Lonnie of Eufaula, Ok. And Vicki J. Martin and her husband Dolan of Eufaula, Ok. Also surviving are two sisters, Ms. Louise Adams of Topeka, Ks. and Ms. Gladys Miller of Eureka, Ks. Other family members include ten grandchildren nineteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was met at Heavens Gate by her husband, parents, father-in-law Fred Wall and his wife Ruth Chambers Wall, her brother Delbert Bruns; sister, Leona Burns Carter and many family and friends.
Ada was a member of Shiloh Assembly of Enterprise, Ok. And loved family and friends, get-togethers, gardening and feeding her birds.
The family would like to thank the staff and physicians of Eufaula Manor and Solara Hospital for their gentle care and respect shown to our Mother.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed by all.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 30, 2009 at Upper Fall River Cemetery. Koup Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
